From storm event
to full restoration.
Hail and wind damage is often invisible from the ground — and every subsequent storm pushes that hidden damage closer to a major leak. We document, repair, and guide your insurance claim from start to finish.
Storm damage is rarely obvious. That's the problem.
Most homeowners discover roof damage weeks after the storm — when a leak appears, when an inspector flags issues before a home sale, or when their insurer denies a claim because the damage wasn't reported promptly. The damage itself happened at impact. You just couldn't see it.
This is a specialized service within our broader roof repair scope. Storm damage assessment, documentation, and insurance-coordinated restoration follow a different process than standard repairs — and experience with that process matters significantly when you're dealing with an insurance claim.
Our inspectors are trained to identify impact marks, granule displacement, and micro-fracturing that adjusters look for — and to document them in a format that supports your claim rather than leaving gaps for denial.
Drone-assisted storm documentation
High-resolution aerial imagery of every impact mark, lifted shingle, and compromised valley — the photographic record your claim needs.
Hidden damage identification
Wind creasing, hail bruising, and flashing separation often appear subtle from the exterior. We know where to look and what it means.
Insurance-structured report
Our damage reports are formatted for adjuster review — geo-tagged photos, damage inventory, and scope of repair with material specifications.
Adjuster coordination
We meet your adjuster on-site, walk through our findings, and represent your documented scope throughout the claim process.
Supplemental claim support
If the initial adjuster estimate is incomplete, we prepare the documentation to support a supplemental claim for missed damage items.
What storm damage really looks like
Hail Impact Bruising
Soft spots in shingles from hail impact — visible as darkened circular impressions under raking light or on close inspection. Each bruise is a future leak point.
Granule Displacement
Hail and wind dislodge the granule layer that protects shingles from UV. Accelerated granule loss shortens service life by years and voids manufacturer coverage.
Wind Creasing & Lifting
High winds can crease shingles along the tab line, allowing them to lift in subsequent events. Creased shingles rarely reseal and become progressive failure points.
Flashing Separation
Wind uplift commonly separates step and counter flashing from chimneys, dormers, and walls — often without dislodging the shingles themselves.
Decking Penetration
Large hail and falling debris can penetrate through the shingle layer into the underlayment or decking — visible as actual punctures or compressed deformation.
Ridge & Hip Displacement
Ridge caps are among the most vulnerable elements in high winds. Missing or displaced ridge shingles expose the most vulnerable juncture of the entire roof system.
From storm to settled claim
Post-Storm Inspection
We schedule your inspection within 48–72 hours of the storm event. Our inspector documents all damage with drone photography and on-roof assessment — creating a timestamped record tied to the weather event.
File Your Claim
Using our written report, you file a claim with your insurer and request an adjuster visit. Prompt filing establishes your date of loss and protects your eligibility for full coverage.
Adjuster Meeting
We attend the adjuster visit, walk through our documented findings, and ensure nothing is overlooked. Our report serves as the reference point for the scope discussion.
Approval & Scope Confirmation
Once approved, we confirm the scope of work against the settlement amount. If items were missed, we support a supplemental claim with additional documentation before scheduling.
Restoration
Our crew completes the repair or replacement using material-matched products and code-compliant installation. Warranty documentation and a close-out photo package are delivered at completion.
