The last roof
your home needs.
Standing seam metal is the most durable roofing option available for residential properties. A properly installed metal roof will outlast every other system on the market — and most of the buildings it's installed on.
More upfront. Much less over a lifetime.
An asphalt shingle roof typically lasts 20–30 years. A standing seam metal roof lasts 50–70 years. When you factor in the cost of a second asphalt replacement — plus maintenance, repairs, and insurance premiums — metal frequently costs less per year of coverage.
Metal roofing also holds significant curb appeal advantages. The clean, modern lines of standing seam have become a signature of high-end residential architecture in North Georgia and the greater Atlanta market — and consistently command attention at resale.

Concealed-Fastener Standing Seam
The premium standard. Panels lock together with no exposed fasteners, eliminating the #1 failure point of older metal systems. Excellent for steep and moderate-slope residential applications.
Snap-Lock Standing Seam
A more economical standing seam option with site-rolled panels and snap-together installation. Ideal for larger residential roofs where cost efficiency matters without sacrificing longevity.
Metal Shingles
The aesthetic of traditional shake or slate with the performance of a metal system. Concealed fastener design with interlocking panels — excellent on complex residential roof geometries.
Corrugated Metal Panels
A durable, architectural option for modern residential aesthetics and outbuilding applications. Available in Galvalume, painted steel, and aluminum.
Aluminum Systems
Fully corrosion-resistant without coatings — the premier choice for coastal properties and high-humidity environments where steel oxidation is a concern.
High-Wind Rated Systems
Standing seam systems rated for 180 mph wind resistance. Increasingly specified in Georgia and North Georgia where severe convective storms generate significant wind and hail loads.
Precision tolerances. Engineered details.
Metal roofing requires a different skill set than asphalt installation. Panel layout, thermal expansion allowances, seam height, clip spacing, and penetration flashing must all be engineered to precise tolerances. Our metal installation crews are specialists — not general roofers who occasionally do metal.
Thermal expansion engineering
All panel systems are installed with correct clip spacing to allow free thermal movement — critical for long-term seam integrity through Georgia's wide seasonal temperature swings.
Custom fabricated flashings
All penetration flashings, valley transitions, and trim profiles are custom-bent to your specific panel profile and roof geometry in our shop.
Manufacturer-certified installation
Our metal installation team holds manufacturer certification for every system we install — a prerequisite for the 50-year transferable warranty.

"We replaced asphalt with standing seam charcoal metal four years ago. It transformed the look of the house completely — everyone who drives by comments on it. Zero issues, zero maintenance, total confidence."
"We had two asphalt replacements in 20 years due to storm damage. After this metal installation I expect I'll never need to think about the roof again. Apex's installation quality is exceptional."
"The Apex team fabricated all the flashings custom in their shop. The attention to every penetration and trim detail was extraordinary. This is clearly not something they figured out on the fly."
From design to installation
Site Assessment & Engineering
Our metal specialist evaluates your roof geometry, slope, drainage design, and structural load capacity. Panel layout is engineered to your specific site conditions.
System Selection & Color
We bring physical panel samples and a full color palette to your home. You select the profile, seam height, and finish with real material references — not just a color card.
Material Fabrication
Custom panels are ordered or fabricated to your roof's exact dimensions. All trim profiles, flashings, and transitions are shop-fabricated for a precise fit.
Tear-off & Decking Prep
Full tear-off of existing materials, decking inspection and repair, and installation of the proper substrate and thermal barrier for your selected metal system.
Panel Installation
Our metal-specialist crew installs the full panel system with engineered clip spacing, custom-fabricated flashings, and daily quality review by the project manager.
