Standing seam metal roofing — Apex Roofing Georgia
Tier 2 Service

Metal Roofing
Systems

The last roof you will ever buy. Standing seam metal delivers architectural authority, extreme longevity, and measurable energy savings that standard shingles cannot approach.

Why Metal Wins

The Premium, Once-in-a-Generation Investment

Most homeowners replace a standard shingle roof two or three times over the life of a house. Each replacement costs more than the last. A standing seam metal roof sidesteps that cycle entirely. You pay once, you install once, and the roof you leave behind is worth more than the one you tore off.

Concealed Fasteners

Standing seam panels lock together mechanically, hiding every fastener from weather exposure. This eliminates the most common failure point in exposed-fastener systems — the rubber gasket that degrades in 10–15 years.

Kynar 500 Energy Finish

Our standard finish uses PVDF Kynar 500 resin — the same coating specified for commercial curtain walls. It reflects solar infrared radiation, resists chalking and fading for 30+ years, and carries a manufacturer color warranty.

24-Gauge or 22-Gauge Steel

We install 24-gauge as our minimum standard and 22-gauge for steep-pitch or high-exposure applications. We do not install 29-gauge, which is adequate for agricultural buildings but not for residential use in a climate like Georgia's.

Class 4 Impact Rating Available

Certain profiles qualify for the highest impact resistance rating available — Class 4 — which can reduce your homeowners insurance premium by 20–30% depending on your carrier and location.

The Numbers

Energy Savings & Long-Term ROI

Metal roofing is the only roofing investment that pays you back — in reduced energy bills, lower insurance premiums, and compounding property value.

25%
Cooling Cost Reduction

Kynar 500 reflective finishes redirect solar heat before it enters the attic, measurably reducing summer cooling loads.

50+
Year Lifespan

A properly installed standing seam metal roof easily outlasts a standard 30-year shingle roof — and the homeowner who bought the house.

$0
Roof Cost in Year 40

By the time a metal roof would need any significant attention, two or three standard shingle replacements would have already been paid for.

1–6%
Resale Premium

Studies consistently show homes with metal roofs sell faster and at a measurable premium over comparable homes with standard shingle roofs.

Metal roofing also qualifies for certain federal energy efficiency tax credits and may be eligible for utility company rebates in Georgia. Ask your Apex estimator for current eligibility details.
